Julie Frantsve-Hawley, PhD, CAE

Director, Analytics and Evaluation

Julie Frantsve-Hawley, PhD, CAE, serves as director of analytics and evaluation for CareQuest Institute for Oral Health. In this role, Julie leads the organization’s innovative research and data analytics initiatives. Julie and her team actively seek out and analyze data in pursuit of powerful insights to inform public policy, empower advocates, and improve health outcomes.

With extensive experience in evidence-based health care research, implementation science, publishing, and advocacy, Julie focuses on peer-review standards, collaboration, and industry relevance. Prior to joining CareQuest Institute, Julie held various research leadership roles with the American Association of Public Health Dentistry, the American Dental Association, the American Association of Dental Research Ethics Committee, and the Council on Government Affairs, and the Friends of NIDCR.

She is an executive scholar of the Nonprofit Management program at Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management and is a Certified Association Executive. She is also a fellow of the National Institutes of Health Training Institute for Dissemination and Implementation Research in Health and of the Alan Alda Center for Communicating Science. Julie earned a doctorate degree from Harvard University’s Biological and Biomedical Sciences program and completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of California, San Francisco.
