Penobscot Community Health Center (PCHC) is a federally-qualified health center (FQHC) in Bangor, Maine providing a broad range of health care services to Maine residents. They are located in a predominantly rural, poor, and medically underserved region, and provide comprehensive, patient-centered services focused on treatment and prevention. They serve patients who are uninsured, underinsured, or have MaineCare, the state’s Medicaid program. Their dental center in Bangor acts as a hub for central and northern Maine residents seeking affordable services. This investment, through the Community Response Fund, supports purchasing replacement equipment pieces to provide necessary services and better serve the needs of patients at PCHC. The amount of $4,979.94 would go directly toward purchasing 6 Amalgamators, which are necessary to continue to providing services.
