New Data from CareQuest Institute for Oral Health Shows Adults with Disabilities Are Less Likely to Visit a Dentist or Have Dental Insurance May 13, 2025 (Boston, MA) — According to new data released today by CareQuest Institute for Oral Health®, adults with disabilities face major barriers to accessing oral health care and are at greater risk for poor oral health outcomes. 
(Boston, MA) – CareQuest Institute for Oral Health®, a leading national nonprofit focused on creating a more accessible, equitable, and integrated oral health system, issued a statement today regarding US Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s plans to direct the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) to stop recommending fluoridation in communities nationwide and US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Administrator Lee Zeldin’s announcement that the EPA, which oversees water quality, will also "take action."
