The Santa Fe Group is an action-oriented think tank with a passion to improve lives through oral health. They have been established for 25 years and have acted as a convener, communicator, connector, and catalyst to advance issues impacting oral health and overall health. This investment, through the Executive Director’s Fund, is to support the Santa Fe Group’s Continuum on Integrating Oral Health into Healthcare. The Continuum model includes an integrated progression of webinars, white papers, editorials, consolidated web resources, and social media programming which leads up to an event called “The Benefits of Integrating Oral Health into Healthcare” on September 8th-9th, 2021. There will be some post-event webinars in the months to follow. The continuum will be facilitated by partners associated with the economics, implementation, and dissemination of the content. This includes foundations, individuals, corporations, consumer organizations, federal agencies, etc. The topics of Continuum activities include oral-systemic collaborations, research in policy and health outcomes, scaling up state and regional integration initiatives, convergence of medical and dental insurance, technology and teledentistry, and others. This grant amount of $25,000 would support the general costs of running the Continuum events and activities.
