HealthLink Dental Clinic is a free dental clinic serving uninsured, low-wage earning adults and military veterans in Bucks and Montgomery Counties in Pennsylvania. HealthLink Dental Clinic is a dental home for patients and provides no-cost services including exams, cleanings, x-rays, fillings, extractions, root canals, etc. Their patient population is roughly half Spanish-speaking and include 6 other languages spoken in addition to English. They employ bilingual staff members to assist with language competency and providing effective care. HealthLink Dental Clinic also partners with local dental schools including Montgomery County Community College’s Dental Hygiene program, and Temple University’s School of Dentistry, to provide hands-on experience for dental students.

This investment, through the Community Response Fund, is to support replacement and repair costs for dental equipment at HealthLink Dental Clinic. They are in need of a replacement apex locator, replacement gliders and reciprocating files, and reupholstering of their dental chair. Their current equipment is either broken or in bad shape and must be repaired or replaced in order to continue providing quality services to patients.
