Value-based care (VBC) presents an opportunity where patients, providers, and payers are better connected and share focus on person-centered care pathways, enabling improved health, wellbeing and satisfaction as well as controlling costs. Dental benefit companies are beginning to strategize next steps in the transition to value and responding to market demands. This session will provide an overview about the 21st Century CURES Act and emerging compliance mandates and discuss how data sharing, measurement, patient engagement and care coordination create value and, over time, lead to better health outcomes and reduce costs.
